    David, I went with “PILE FEED” @ 16d.
    Would also be a correct answer AND fit the Definition.
    However some of the Comments about stuffed/lined jackets etc,
    now make much more sense!!!

      Not sure I see piled as “stuffed”. It is more like a growing heap. I saw it as stuffing as much money in my pockets as I could, which meant I had lined my pockets.
      Water under the bridge now. Let’s see what this week brings.
