Early Christmas gift? That was probably the easiest Stickler I’ve solved here so far.
Whenever I say that, the very next puzzle makes me wish I hadn’t 🙂
Hi Bhavan,
I think you must be getting used to how I write clues. I was a little worried that this one might be too hard – but it seems not. I wrote a small blurb on the Stickler Weekly 10 solution post about how hard it is for a setter to judge puzzle difficulty, and you’ve proved me right straight away.
Thanks for your continuing support and see you Sunday.
The Stickler
Hi David,
I know what you mean by a setter being unable to judge his/her puzzles difficulty. I think it is because we start with the answer and then frame a clue for it forgetting how hard it can be when reading the clue in isolation to get the answer. Happens to me when I read my own clues a couple of months after I write them.
Look forward to catching up with you again on Sunday.
Regards
Hi David
who owns the copyright to those 4786 puzzles mentioned above. They would make a great series of books. And they would all seem like new puzzles now.
Hi Grant,
I own the copyright to all my puzzles. I will be releasing some bundles of past puzzles very soon. Stay tuned.
