I enjoyed that one. I’m definitely solving them more quickly with constant practice.
It seems to me that 4d and 11d are the same type of clue, which I haven’t seen very often (assuming that I got them right!). If so, a few lines about that style of clue would be appreciated.
Yes Greg, they are the same type of clue called a cryptic definition. I’ll talk about them on the Stickler Weekly 13 solution page on Monday week.

I struggled with 4d. I thought 12a might have been wrong because I was thinking of a more common name. 6d caught me out for the same reason.
